Today is Release Day for HEARTLESS A Shieldmaiden’s Voice! I’m throwing an impromptu party. We’ve got a Rafflecopter Giveaway, virtual Covenant Keeper approved cake, and one tough heroine.

And of course this is our guest of honor!

What do you think of Carole Blank now?

A new look...
A new brand...
The same awesome hero.

Don't you just love a party? This is the real cake for this book release...

Author, S.R. Karfelt, HEARTLESS A Shieldmaiden's Voice
Mission Accomplished!

Do you think surrounding it with fruit and veggies makes it healthier? I think so too.

Today I'll be in Book Release Party position, but not for long because the next book is due any second! Hope you all enjoy the cake, Rafflecopter, AND most especially the book.

If you have any to spare, leave some energy in the comments!

  2. Heartless is such a strange name for a character with so much of it. :) Love this story!

  4. WHOOO! So excited. Cover turned out amazeballs! Looks mighty nice next to sexy ol' Kahtar, huh?

Great story- new title is making me wonder why Carole would think she's heartless though... which just makes me want to READ HER STORY again. ^_^

Time to collect the new covered editions for my growing BMBooks shelf!!!

  5. DMKilgore - Let me know when you "get it" about the whole HEARTLESS thing.

Yay - Ashley - ME TOO! The paperbacks should be up any second. It takes awhile for the links to trickle through.

LaDonna - Right? But it also fits (hint: think Ted White).

Kelsey - There's reason it's your favorite, Shieldmaiden.

  8. Tell you how my heart is... Asked tough question, you have. My heart is empty, my heart is full, my heart is filled with love, my heart is filled with doubt, my heart is filled with wonder... My heart is filled with all the emotions of nature...whether it is a beautiful rainbow, or a roiling thunderstorm, the gentle washing of the tides, or the strong undertow that tries to pull you underneath. My heart is me, all wrapped up in my paradox-enshrouded existence.

  12. Thanks, Kimberly! I love that you find Carole both ethereal and real. Perfect combo, right?

  13. Joni - Sounds like you might have some Covenant Keeper blood. :)

I'm a huge fan of paradox-enshrouded existences myself.

Wouldn't this question make an excellent Creative Writing question?

  17. Katie Cross - That is an easy make, I would make you those rice cakey wonders. One for every letter of the quote you wrote me even. Absolutely the best quote for Carole Blank, you rock it.

Let me know if you need me to come to your house and cook *ahem* assemble those treats. I keep my suitcase packed.

  27. Hello, lovely! I shared the Release on the Big Day, but forgot to comment ;)

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you. Fabulous cover - they just keep getting more amazing. And I have to say that I'm drooling over the glass heart.

One of these days I want to hang out with you in the real world, because I think you're fabulous, and you've been a rock for me :) Love you!

  28. Hey, Howdy, Natalie! Glad you stopped by. Good luck with the glass heart. I made one once, but mine came out much darker and asymmetrical (although I did that last bit on purpose). I'm a novice at this glassblowing stuff.

I hope we get to hang out in the real world too. It's been a long time since Ragged Edge! <3 <3 <3 <3 We need to chat because there's actually a conference in your neck of the world that I've had my eye on...

    :D
